Last winter me and Ryan would jam almost everyday, recording directly into a hand-held tape recorder at our practice space. The best and brightest stuff made up what would become the "Feel Better" cassette, but there were a bunch of completely full, unlabeled and forgotten cassettes of these majestic mono jams that got thrown into a box somewhere. I unearthed an especially insane one today and transferred it to mp3s. It was the entirety of a 60 minute tape, but I edited it down to about half that. Just something strange and soft to listen to while the leaves start changing.

Six untitled improvisations recorded January/February 2010.
Yesterday was a 24hour jam, up early and home late from a one-day concentrated roadtrip down to Lexington, Kentucky to play the Boomslang festival. It was awesome to see old friends and hear a ton of insane music in the fair southern breeze.
The fan in the venue was humungous! It was actually made by a company called, no joke, and we have verification by way of their website... "Big Ass Fans". Someone somewhere right now is making a living-- no, a legacy selling big ass fans.

A feral at the gas station begging for Doritoes. (Which is which??)
Just back from a roadtrip out to upstate New York and thru Buffalo/Fredonia for a couple of shows. Here's the audio from our cracked-out and super happy set at Vassar University with rad ambient/cut up beat-makers Blithe Field. A few new songs and more banter than usual.
Our friend Vice Cooler from Hawnay Troof/XbXrX is working towards a killer compilation NFJM:030, a benefit LP for the orphans of Rwandan genocide. All profits of the LP go toward providing an education for the young women orphaned by the genocide. This is good news, for sure, and also good news is that this limited-to-400 copies LP seems like it will rule pretty much! Exclusive tracks from Mt. Eerie, Deerhoof, No Age, Frankie & The Outs, Explode Into Colors (rip) and tons more!
